Let the insanity begin

This is my first blog and I have buckled under the pressure of my fellow bloggers to enter this into this craziness. I love to write and I love the internet so I guess this is a good way to get my feet wet.

  2. This is Betsy and Donna's niece. Blogging is a journal of my life, family, and gatherings. I have two blogs, check them out.
Welcome to the world of blogging. Can't wait for your next post.

  3. Hi, this is Wendy, and I'm friends with Sarah. My son, John Paul, knows Brenna. Sarah may have given you and your husband some rose-of-sharon plants from my yard.

I like cottages, too. My home is unofficially named "Thistledew Forest Cottage." It's sort of a pun. I'm trying to declutter the house and then paint, etc., and do some home improvements to make it cozy, clean and full of light.

I like cottage-style because not only because it is simple and light, but also because it is eclectic (and not overly fussy about the pedigree of a piece of furniture). I mentioned this to Sarah, who told me about your blog.

My garden can be called a cottage garden by those who are generous and kind, or perhaps visionaries. A lot of it is still a mess. I need a big dose of follow-through.

  4. Hi, I did get a plant from your cottage garden and now I'm hard at work trying to get mine back in shape. Hopefully I will have something worth putting pictures of on here by May. In the maantime I need to find a "sunny" picture to replace this cold one on here. Nice to "blog" you. Terri
